Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra presents Astronomy

In “Astronomy”, WVSO will feature the thunderous. movie-soundtrack feeling of Holst’s The Planets. Wenatchee’s Appleaires women’s choir will join WVSO in the “Neptune” movement. Also on the program is Romberg’s technical and expressive Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, featuring flutist Hal Ott, professor of flute at Central Washington University.

The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1947, is a group of talented North Central Washington musicians – your neighbors and friends. The Orchestra performs four concerts each season and provides a variety of youth and adult education and community engagement programs to the community. Music Director and Conductor Dr. Nikolas Caoile, Director of Orchestras at Central Washington University, leads the symphony. The Association is proud to provide a platform for area musicians to exhibit their talents for the benefit of the region.
