“Death and the Maiden”, named after Schubert’s String Quartet, will begin with music that accompanies the play, “Rosamunde”, and finish with Mahler’s first sketch to his Symphony No. 2, “Totenfeier”. Sandwiched in between, we will feature 2017 Young Musician Competition Winner, vocalist Chloe Millard, and critically acclaimed Canadian pianist, Peter Longworth.
The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1947, is a group of talented North Central Washington musicians – your neighbors and friends.
