Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra presents Fairy Tales

Pieces by Maurice Ravel and Igor Stravinsky that were inspired by children’s stories will be showcased. Wenatchee-native and professional harpist Ellen Heinicke Foster will join us, performing Joaquín Rodrigo’s beautiful Concierto de Aranjuez. Ravel’s warm Mother Goose Suite and Stravinsky’s popular 1919 Firebird Suite will spotlight the orchestra.

The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1947, is a group of talented North Central Washington musicians – your neighbors and friends. The Orchestra performs four concerts each season and provides a variety of youth and adult education and community engagement programs to the community. Music Director and Conductor Dr. Nikolas Caoile, Director of Orchestras at Central Washington University, leads the Symphony. The Association is proud to provide a platform for area musicians to exhibit their talents for the benefit of the region.
