“American Masters” will highlight some of the masterworks by American composers. Bernstein’s ubiquitous Overture to Candide, Gershwin’s charming Rhapsody in Blue (performed by Ecuadorian pianist, Wilson Alvarez), Aaron Copland’s film score dedicated to Leonard Bernstein, and Grofé’s picturesque orchestral suite describing our geographical wonder will be performed.
